About the owner, Leah

Hello! My name is Leah, founder and owner of Mothers Creations LLC. I'm a stay-at-home mom with two wonderful children and a loving, full-time-working husband. I decided to become a stay-at-home mom after this realization: adulting is expensive. Car insurance, car payments, child care - it's a lot to deal with. I slashed one of those off my list and stayed home to wrangle the kids. I didn't like the idea of my husband being the only one financially picking up the slack, so I joined a direct sales company, twice. They were not for me, so I turned to my love of handmaking and crafting! I started knitting and crocheting starting when I was a mere toddler, and have the photo to prove it! Moving along, I started beading and my craft grew from there. I expanded to tumbler making and crafting with resin, and soon I wanted to share it with the world!
In my spare time - when I have some - I spend time with the kids, taking them to the park and letting their imagination run rampant. My oldest child loves ice skating and competitions. They love to try crafting with me as well! Drawing, painting, beading, helping daddy cook. My youngest is a serious handful, loves bowling, and being a mini version of daddy isn't easy! Along with the manly house chores, my hubby administers all my artistic and technical needs for my business!

Mother's Creations started as a part-time hobby and became a full-time endeavor by a full-time work-at-home mother! We are a home-based business located in the beautiful Pacific NW, working towards a larger dream and hand-crafting since 2019. We started with a large variety of handmade items such as jewelry, fiber-arts, home décor, and tumbler cups. We rapidly expanded to numerous mediums, but realized we stretched ourselves too thin. We needed to make a change. We took a step back and reflected on what we had become. We lost sight of our dream, and we know we are still new in this industry. We are making a name for ourselves and making an impression with the handmade community. As a result, we re-focused on a true passion of ours: beautiful, handmade jewelry and accessories.
